One crazy, busy month - Sanya is 9 months old

HI everyone,

First, to everyone in Houston, I hope every one is safe and has power (I am assuming you do since you are reading this post). So this month started off calmly enough. I went to Parul aunti's baby shower to help welcome one of my new friends (baby Presha).

Then we went to Austin for Rakshah Bandan (a Indian festival where sister's honor thier brothers) so that I could tie a rakhi on Shalin bhai (of course it had to be BLUE).

Then came Paryushan where I got to get all dressed up in a chanya choli that my Nani got for me from India.

Then I started to get some teeth. Here is a picture of my first tooth.

And then finally I expereinced my first hurricane (Ike, for those of you living in a cave). I didn't really get scared, but I had a place to hide in case I did. Can you see me?

Here are a couple of random pictures from this month as well.

Anyways, I gotta go help mommy and daddy clean up after the hurricane.

Kisses!!

What a month!!!

Hi everyone,

This month I had a lot of firsts. My first Rakhsha Bandan (indian festival where sister's honor thier brother's), my first Paryushan (Jain holy week), and first hurricane (Ike, for those of you who live under a rock). So here is how the month went. I got to go to Austin to tie a rakhi on my brother Shalin. I had to make sure it was blue because that is his favorite color.

Then was Paryushan where I got to get all dressed up in my Chanya Choli.
